Dative after Prepositions

Prepositions determine the case! Always!

The rules of prepositions are always stronger than all other rules and assert themselves also against case after certain verbs or the rule direct object (accusative) and indirect object (dative). If we ask with "Where?", so we talk about a position / a place, the prepositions "auf", "an" , "vor" and "in" are followed by the dative.

„Das Brautpaar steht auf dem Steg.“
„Sie ist in der Hütte.“
„Er sitzt an dem Tisch.“
„Sie stehen vor dem Rathaus.“

M3.1: Where are the wedding guests? Match and add the Dative case and then form the sentences with „sein, stehen, tanzen, sitzen“:
