The word „staubsaugen“ is not separable. It is mostly used with „müssen“ or „können“. z.B.: “Ich muss staubsaugen.“ or „Kannst du bitte staubsaugen?“

However, it's also often said like this:

„Ich sauge Staub.“, „Du saugst Staub.“ etc.

You hear this especially in the perfect tense:„Ich habe Staub gesaugt.“

Pay attention to capitalization here, as „Staub“ is now a noun.
